The reason your subconscious mind talks you out of bettering yourself is because the old you is comfortable. Change is very difficult for a lot of people. Many people dream of being rich, for instance, but not many people will never be rich because, deep down, they fear success. It’s just your mind’s way of preventing change.

What you have to do, when using self hypnosis, is you have to force yourself to set aside a little time each day, preferably at the same time, to listen to your hypnosis program. Even if your mind tries to talk you out of it, ignore that inner voice and turn on the program. If, after thirty days, you don’t see a difference, then at least you gave it your best shot.
